NAFA Fleet Management Association is engaging with the American Lung Association and the United Soybean Board to expand access to continuing education opportunities for fleet professionals.
Through this new collaboration, courses from the Lung Association’s Biobased Academy® are now approved by NAFA for Certified Automotive Fleet Manager (CAFM) recertification credit. Supported by the United Soybean Board, the Lung Association’s Biobased Academy® is a comprehensive training program designed to educate professionals on the operational, health, safety, and environmental benefits of biobased fleet, facility, and grounds products.
- The Biobased Certified Fleet Professional (BCFP) Course is approved for 3.5 hours of Continuing Professional Education (CPE).
- The Biobased Certified Facilities and Property Professional (BCPP) Course is approved for 3 hours of CPE.
“NAFA is proud to offer fleet professionals access to high-quality, forward-looking training that supports both professional development and sustainable fleet operations,” said Bill Schankel, CAE, CEO of NAFA. “This partnership reflects our shared commitment to preparing fleet leaders.”
Upon full completion of the Biobased Academy®, participants will have a firm understanding of how and why biobased fleet products are safe, renewable, and reliable alternatives to traditional and petroleum-based products.
“Through the United Soybean Board, America’s soybean farmers continue to lead the way with the American Lung Association showing why biobased alternatives improve operational, health, safety, and environmental performance,” said Gene Stoel, a USB Director and soybean farmer from Minnesota. “We are proud to be recognized by NAFA for this leadership and to join their world-class certification program.”
