SoyFoam Farm to Fire 2 Event Registration

Join us at the Chippewa Valley Fire Safety Center in Eau Claire, Wisconsin to watch SoyFoam™ TF 1122 in action. See how the first and only firefighting foam GreenScreen Certified® at the Gold level also performs in a variety of tests and real-world uses. Participate in discussions with firefighters, evaluators, scientists, and the manufacturer alongside the farmers who are supporting bringing this new PFAS and fluorine-free firefighting foam to communities across the country. Firefighters can sign up to bring gear to experience the future of firefighting.

When:
Thursday, August 15 reception at 5:30 p.m. and dinner at 6:30 p.m.
Friday, August 16 (2 repeated sessions AM and PM)
Session A: 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. (Demonstrations followed by lunch starting at noon)
Session B: Noon to 5 p.m. (Lunch followed by demonstrations)

Attire: Casual with closed-toe shoes

Optional CVTC Heartsaver First/Aid course: To those doing the afternoon session of the demonstrations, you may sign up for the American Heart Association first aid training led by CVTC instructors from 9 am-11 am. The course includes first aid basics. Medical emergencies are covered along with injury emergencies such as bleeding, broken bones and burns. Heat and cold emergencies and actions for bites and stings (including use of epinephrine injector) are also a part of this training geared toward the person with little or no medical background. The textbook is included in the $30 cost of the course.
