Graffiti Remover:

• Franmar Chemical®, Inc. manufactures a soy-based product, called Ickee Stickee Unstuck®, which according to Franmar can be used to remove graffiti, permanent marker, crayon, adhesives, and more.
• Gemtek® Products manufacturers SC-Graffiti, Tar & Gum Remover, which according to Gemtek is a non-evaporative solvent that can be used to loosen tough soils such as tar, chewing gum, permanent marker, ink and graffiti paints and remove most organic and inorganic soils without harming the cleaning surface. SC-Graffiti, Tar & Gum Remover is available through the GSA Supply Schedule (#GS-07F-5942R).
• Green Products, LLC manufacturers aMAIZEing™, which is a solvent and stripper made from a combination of corn and soybean oil esters that can be used as a graffiti remover. According to its manufacturer, aMAIZEing™ is 100% biobased (per ASTM D 6866-04), is readily biodegradable, contains no environmentally hazardous ingredients, contains no ozone depleting chemicals (OCDs), and contains no hazardous air pollutants.
• Soy Technologies, LLC makes SoyGreen® Graffiti Remover for Painted Surfaces and Unpainted Surfaces and Graffiti Wipes which according to Soy Technologies can be used to remove, paint, ink, crayon, magic marker and adhesives residue and is low in VOCs, non-flammable, and biodegradable. These products are recognized by EPA’s Design for the Environment program.
• Vertec BioSolvents, Inc. manufactures a corn and soybean derived-solvent, VertecBio Gold™ #2, that can be used as a graffiti remover.
• Spartan Chemical makes Graffiti Remover SAC, which according to Spartan Chemical removes typical graffiti markings (paint, marker, ink, crayon and pencil) and can also remove scuff marks, wax residues and adhesive from glazed tile, stainless steel, fiberglass, metal, marble, chrome, aluminum, brass, glass, Formica®, Lexan®, and porcelain. The product is not intended for use on painted surfaces. According to the manufacturer, the product is a ready-to-use safer alternative to petroleum based solvents. The product has an NSN number (7930-01-555-2897 and 7930-01-55-2899 for 1 gallon) and is available through the JWOD catalog on GSA Advantage!.

Barrier Cream:

Franmar Chemical®, Inc. also manufactures a soy-based product called Series 8™, which is a barrier cream that can be used to coat hands while doing shop work and, according to Franmar, allows for the easy removal of dirt and grease with water after work is completed.

Aircraft Metal Cleaner:

SC-Aircraft™ and Metal Cleaner is, according to the product maker, Gemtek® Products, especially formulated for use on non-ferrous, soft metal surfaces such as aluminum to remove fuels, lubricants, and other hydrocarbon soils and can meet stringent military and aircraft manufacturer specifications. Stainless Steel Cleaner:

Soy Technologies, LLC manufactures a soy based Stainless Steel Cleaner, Degreaser, and Polish, which is formulated to leave a fingerprint resistant finish. According to Soy Technologies, the product is low VOC, non-flammable, biodegradable, contains no petrochemicals, and is recognized by the EPA¡Šs Design for the Environment program.
